DiPS MUN - (Model United Nations)

The DiPS MUN, which took place on 15th, 16th and 17th of July, was a wonderful overview of the United Nations. The committees and the agendas were planned in a organised manner.

The HJCC committee was a very interesting and a competitive committee. The committee had over 65 delegates and 2 separate cabinets being the Indo-Bangladeshi and the Pakistani Cabinet. Though the committee did not follow the regular MUN procedure it made the delegates feel as if they were part of the actual cabinet.

The SC was an in depth view of the agenda. Though the committee was slow, the final resolution was out of the world. The committee had to fail as it is really rare for a committee to pass in the SC.

The AIPM gave the actual simulation of the Lok Sabha with therepresentatives discussing the agenda in detail. The committee made the representatives feel they had the actual powers of the Indian political leaders.
The DISEC committee had over 100 delegates. Though the committee had a huge strength everyone got a chance to speak and also it was one of the most interesting committees. The whole committee formed a block together to come up with a really good resolution.

The HESALwas easily one of the most competitive committees. The committee was peaceful and had a lot of experienced delegates who came with interesting solutions.

SOCHUM was the most interactive committee but the delegates of this committee had the most amount of fun. The procedure of this committee was very unique and interesting.

The overall experience was a learning experience and a realistic simulation of the United Nations. Nobody would regret taking part in DiPS MUN again.
