An exploratory trek
to the Magnificent Himalayan Range
The students of Std 9 and 11 went to the Magnificent Kangra
Valley to explore and experience the environment, culture and traditions of the
valley. A week's trip it was i.e.from 14th September '19 to 20th September '19.
The complete programme was a bliss that beholds you even
after coming back to the plains. The students got the rare opportunity of
getting a glimpse of HIS HOLINESS DALAI LAMA. They were very enthusiastic to
know about the Tibetan Culture and the very reason of their taking refuge in
our country INDIA. They had an opportunity of spending a day with the Gaddi
Community of Bal village in Kangra district.
The other attractions of this trek were The Kangra fort, The
Rock Cut temple, Mata Jwalaji temple, Gyuto Monastery and Norbulingka Institute.
