Jain
International Residential School participated in the CMS MUN V6 on 29th,
30th November and 1st December. 8 students Akanksha Jain,
Dhruv Shah, Jyot Bhami, Dhir Shah, Deepa Shankar, Priyansh, Naman Gupta and
Anish Sai Sunku took part in the MUN.
There were a
total of 4 committees which consisted of UNSC, DISEC, CCC and The Lok Sabha.
The CMS MUN V6 being a university MUN had a limited number of delegates. The
committees were very competitive. The delegates of JIRS were youngest
delegation.
The delegates
of JIRS had an exposure to the world politics, war and even the present riots
of the Article 370 in India. The delegates also learnt a lot about the
development in the Northern African region.
The overall
experience and exposure helped the delegates to learn and gain a lot of
enriched knowledge. Like always all the students of JIRS
ensured toget a recognition in the committee. Dhruv Shah of ‘IB’ year 1 was
awarded a ‘verbal mention’ in DISEC.
